Handmade Pin Cushions and Fabric

I love pretty fabric, here is some in my collection, I think they are really very pretty, I make little pin cushions with the material, they make a great gift for anyone that is in anyway crafty and I have some for sale, I can also custom make any shape or design needed for no extra cost(example: Heart shape, Cat shape etc..)

I got this fabric(Top and Bottom one) for my bestfriend Mel as it is her birthday in March

The fabric on top is from a shop in Galway called Lola Rose and I got the one on bottom from a English market
If Interested in buying a handmade pin cushion, please email me.

My Wedding Crochet

For my wedding I really wanted to add a personal touch as do all Brides, that is why I had made so many things, everyone loved my handmade crochet items and I even got a few orders for other weddings on my big day, For a personal and elegant touch on your wedding I will work close with the Bride to make sure her wedding will be one to remember

Flower pins with pearl beading a real ice breaker amongst guests and a simple token of the day to take home with them and will last forever (Can be made in any colour to suit the wedding)

Crochet Cape made with Patons Thunder Mohair, this cape can also be made in white/ cream yarn with added clear crystals for any Bride

I hand stitched swarovski crystals into the cape and had the bridesmaid necklaces made to match

I stayed up until 3AM the night before the wedding crocheting this flowergirl cape (yawn!)

The flower girl basket was a joy to make and no one could keep their eyes or hands off it

My Noro Cape

From the crochet book "The Happy Hooker" a collection of patterns, this is called Cold Shoulders and is by Laurie Rossbach

Beautiful Shell Stitch

I used Noro yarn when crocheting this, I really didnt want to use pom poms which is suggested in the pattern so instead I used a really big, funky red button that I got in Hickeys, Galway

Cold Shoulders

I got the pattern 'Cold Shoulders' from the crochet book The Happy Hooker
I am in love with this pattern - it is quick, easy and can look so differant depending on the yarn you use...
The green and pink shawl was made for my god-daughter Naimh and the pink and black one was made for my sister Shauna.

I am thinking of making one to wear on my wedding day.....

I entered the Garbage to Gorgeous contest with a crochet hat made from plastic bags, It is Blue and red with a little blue flower to the side.
I loved watching it being modeled on the cat walk and was so proud.
